DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH – TRANSFER TO HOTEL/RIAD
Upon your arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted by our driver, who will escort you to your chosen accommodation, whether it’s a hotel or Riad. Take this opportunity to relax and settle in for your first night in Morocco.
DAY 2: FULL DAY EXPLORING MARRAKECH
Today offers an optional private guided tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide. Explore iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the bustling Medina and its vibrant souks, and uncover more of Marrakech’s hidden gems: the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. Spend the evening at a Riad/Hotel in the Medina.
DAY 3: MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA
Depart from Marrakech to the charming seaside town of Essaouira. Enjoy a leisurely drive lined with argan oil cooperatives to this UNESCO World Heritage-listed city. With its windswept fishing port, expansive beaches, and ancient walled medina, Essaouira has long been a beloved destination. Explore the lively medina, stroll along the ramparts or beach, or visit the port to witness the daily catch. Overnight stay in one of Essaouira’s local Riads.
DAY 4: ESSAOUIRA – SAFI – EL OUALIDIA
Leave Essaouira for Oualidia, stopping in Safi along the way, known for its pottery and sardine exports. Arrive in Oualidia, a serene seaside village with a protected lagoon, estuary, and wild Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy various activities such as walking, birdwatching, fishing, swimming, kayaking, kite surfing, and surfing.
DAY 5: OUALIDIA – JADIDA – CASABLANCA – RABAT
Depart Oualidia for Rabat, passing through El Jadida, a UNESCO World Heritage site formerly controlled by the Portuguese. Explore Casablanca’s Mohammed V Square and the impressive Hassan II Mosque before delving into the Imperial City of Rabat, including the Mechouar, Mohammed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, and Oudaya Kasbah.
DAY 6: RABAT – ASILAH – TANGIER (North Of Morocco)
Embark on a scenic coastal drive from Rabat to Tangier, stopping in the picturesque town of Asilah along the way. Explore Asilah’s whitewashed houses, blue walls, and murals before continuing to Tangier, a vibrant city where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans meet.
DAY 7: TANGIER – RIF MOUNTAINS – CHEFCHAOUEN
Leave Tangier for the enchanting mountain village of Chefchaouen, passing through the lush valleys of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen’s blue-rinsed houses and vibrant souks make it a popular destination. Explore its winding lanes, narrow alleys, and unique artisan works, and relax in the central square or hike in nearby parks.
DAY 8: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES
After breakfast in the Riad, embark on a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis, an open-air museum showcasing Morocco’s history. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, and explore its historical landmarks. Then head to Fes for an overnight stay.
DAY 9: EXPLORE FES
Explore the intellectual capital of Fes, known for its rich history and vibrant culture. Discover Fez el Bali, Fez-Jdid, and the Ville Nouvelle, each offering unique insights into the city’s past and present. Visit the University of Al-Karaouine, the oldest university in the world, founded in AD 859.
DAY 10: FES – IFRAN – AZROU – MIDELT – ZIZ GORGES – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA
After breakfast, depart from Fes to Merzouga, passing through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou. Enjoy lunch in a small Berber village before continuing to Merzouga, where you’ll join a Berber camp in the heart of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes for a magical desert experience.
DAY 11: MERZOUGA – BERBER FAMILIES – BLACK DESERT – MERZOUGA (Camel Ride & Night In Sahara)
Start your day with breakfast at the luxury desert camp, then explore the area, visiting Berber families and the village of Khamlia. Enjoy camel rides guided by experienced Camel men and spend the night under the stars in a traditional Berber nomad tent or luxury camp.
DAY 12: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – JORF – TODRA GORGES – DADES
Witness the sunrise over the Sahara Desert before breakfast. Ride your camel back to the luxury camp, then depart for Todra Gorges via Erfoud and Tinejdad. Admire the stunning views and hike through Todra Gorges before spending the night at a luxury Riad in Dades.
DAY 13: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate, stopping for photo opportunities at the kasbah of Taourirt and Ait Benhaddou. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before driving through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech via the Tizi N’tichka pass.
DAY 14: MARRAKECH – AIRPORT
Transfer from your Hotel/Riad in Marrakech to the airport, marking the end of your 14-day Moroccan tour.
