Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Dades Gorges

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Marrakech hotel, where our guide will escort you to the starting point. Traverse the majestic Atlas Mountain range and descend into the enchanting Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site reminiscent of ancient civilizations. Next, we head to Ouarzazate, known as the Gateway to the Desert, where you’ll marvel at landscapes featured in blockbuster films like “The Mummy” and “Lawrence of Arabia.” After lunch, continue your voyage to the picturesque Dades Valley, where you’ll unwind in a private guesthouse with an en-suite bathroom and savor a delectable Moroccan dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara Desert
Today, venture towards the breathtaking Todra Gorges, a haven for rock climbers and a sight to behold with its stunning scenery. Traverse the ancient Bedouin trading road alongside the Middle Atlas, passing fortified villages boasting pre-Saharian architecture. En route to Erfoud, marvel at the rich black fossils marble that defines the town. Arrive at the majestic Merzouga dunes, where the vast Sahara Desert beckons. Leave your vehicle behind and embark on a camel ride into the desert to reach a Berber camp. Witness a mesmerizing sunset, dine under the stars in a Bedouin tent, and revel in traditional Berber live drum music and chants around a campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast at the camp, return by camel or 4WD to Merzouga village, where your driver/guide awaits to commence the journey back to Marrakech. Traverse the arid landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, passing quaint Berber villages nestled at the foothills of volcanic peaks. Journey through the verdant Draa Valley with its sprawling palm groves, pausing for lunch en route to Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon.
