DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CASABLANCA AIRPORT – RABAT
Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, you’ll be greeted with a pick-up service and have the opportunity to explore the city if your flight arrives early. You can visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque and enjoy the coastal beauty of the “Cornish” seaside. Afterward, we’ll depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where you’ll spend the night at your chosen Riad/Hotel.
DAY 2: RABAT – MEKNÈS – VOLUBILIS – FEZ
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Hassan Mosque in Rabat before heading to Meknès, the 16th-century capital known for its historical significance under Moulay Ismail’s rule. We’ll embark on a guided tour of Meknès and explore its rich history. Our journey continues to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we’ll marvel at ancient mosaics and temples. Later, we’ll overnight in a Riad in Fez.
DAY 3: FEZ GUIDED CITY TOUR
Start your day with breakfast at your Riad/Hotel in Fes before immersing yourself in the wonders of the city. Fez, one of the oldest imperial cities, offers a captivating blend of medieval architecture and vibrant culture. Explore the medieval Medina, Quaraouine University, Medersa Attarine, Kingdom Palace, Ben Denane synagogue, and bustling souks. After lunch, visit a tiles cooperative and enjoy panoramic views of the Medina.
DAY 4: FES – MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI DUNES NIGHT IN A CAMP
Depart from your Hotel or Riad in Fes and journey southwards through the Middle Atlas mountains. Along the way, stop at a cedar forest to observe Barbarian Apes in their natural habitat. Traverse the Tizi Ntalghamt pass, soaking in breathtaking views of the Middle-Atlas plateau. After lunch, continue through the Ziz valley, Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. Experience a camel ride to a Berber camp in the Erg Chebbi Sand dunes, where you’ll spend the night under the stars.
DAY 5: ERG CHEBBI – DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE
Wake up early for a mesmerizing sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes before camel-trekking back to your accommodation. After breakfast, journey through the picturesque Dades Valley, known for its kasbahs and scenic vistas. Continue to Ouarzazate via Kalaat Mgouna and Skoura village, with a lunch stop at the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage site before overnighting in Ouarzazate.
DAY 6: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING – GUIDED CITY TOUR
After breakfast, traverse the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass over the High Atlas Mountains, pausing to admire panoramic views and visit an argan oil cooperative. Arrive in Marrakech for a guided tour of the city’s highlights, including the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, Saadiens tombs, and Bahia Palace. Enjoy lunch near the bustling square, followed by an exploration of the vibrant souks. You’ll have some free time in the late afternoon to further explore the city.
DAY 7: AIRPORT TRANSFER
Depart for Casablanca airport, ensuring you arrive at least two hours before your flight departure for a smooth journey home.
