YOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dadés Gorges

Our journey commences from Marrakech at 8:00 AM, as we set course for Ouarzazate, a historic caravan town nestled in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains, renowned as the Gateway to the Sahara. Passing through the Berber town of Taddert and traversing the lofty Tizi-in-Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 meters, we’ll make a stop at the renowned Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a captivating red earth fortress adorning the ancient Kasbahs route, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a satisfying lunch by the Kasbah, we continue our journey to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, often dubbed as “the Hollywood of Africa.” Venturing forth along the enchanting “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs,” we’ll be greeted by the fascinating “sand castles” that dot the landscape. Our odyssey proceeds to Kalaat Mgouna, renowned as “the city of roses,” celebrated for its annual festival during the May rose harvest. Finally, we arrive at our hotel nestled in the heart of Dades Gorge, where we’ll relish a traditional Moroccan evening meal and prepare for the adventures that await.

Day 2: Boumalne Dadès – Tinghir – Todra Gorge – Arfoud – Merzouga Dunes

Following a delectable breakfast, our expedition leads us through the picturesque Dadés Valley and Todra Gorge, offering ample opportunities to marvel at the natural wonders of this region. A refreshing stop for lunch at a local café awaits us en route. Our ultimate destination for the day is Merzouga, where we’ll embark on a memorable journey from the Erg Chebbi sand dunes to a traditional Berber desert camp, transported by camelback. Nestled in the tranquility of the desert, we’ll spend the night in authentic Berber tents, savoring our evening meal and awakening to a delightful breakfast.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Nkob – Ouarzazate

We bid farewell to the desert camp and return to our hotel in Merzouga to freshen up and enjoy breakfast. Our expedition continues towards Draa Valley, passing through scenic locales including Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkob. Arriving at Tamnougalt, we’ll spend the night in one of the historic Kasbahs, nestled amidst date palm groves, offering a romantic retreat for travelers. A leisurely stroll allows us to explore the enchanting old Kasbahs of the region.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ighrem N’Ougdal – Marrakech

En route from Ouarzazate to Marrakech, we’ll marvel at the grandeur of Kasbah Taourirt before continuing our journey towards our final destination. Arriving in Marrakech by evening, we conclude our memorable expedition enriched with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.
